Mt. Vernon Winery is celebrating 18 years in business on May 6 with our Blues, Bottles and Bacon event!

It wouldn’t be a party without you, our friends and family.

Along with the entertainment, food, wine and family-friendly attractions, we have a special treat for our wine club members, the heartbeat of Mt. Vernon Winery.

We are offering free commemorative T-shirts to the first 50 wine club members in attendance!

After you get your shirt, here is what you will see at the event:

We welcome Mark “Steiny” Steinmetz, a respected blues singer, writer and harmonica player whose flair, textual sound of original blues sets him apart from his peers. You’ll love Steinmetz’s silky vocals and his group of seasoned musicians. “Two-Tone Steiny & The Cadillacs” perform an irresistible mix of classics and original tunes. The group’s high-energy stage presence and music is fitting for our celebration.

There will be no cover charge!

We carefully selected a food truck for our 18th anniversary party: Bacon Mania Food Truck. If you’re in the mood for some “unabashedly American man food,” then you’ll love the day’s bacon-themed offerings. From the Big Pig (slow roasted pulled pork and bacon sandwiches), to the Famous Jack Back Sammie (a twice grilled cheese bacon sandwich), no menu item will disappoint. If you’re wondering how to pair all this bacon goodness with your favorite Mt. Vernon Wine, we have a guide for you here.

Of course, Mt. Vernon wine will be available to taste and purchase. Our wine and your business is why we are here today. We want to share our celebration with the good people who’ve made it possible.

We hope you are able to join us for this wonderful event, which will also include art and jewelry displays, and live demonstrations of clay sculpting and paintings!
