Mt. Vernon Winery was named Best Winery by the Auburn Journal for the 15^th consecutive year.

Our family-owned and operated winery is honored and humbled by yet another award recognizing its commitment to excellence in wine making and customer service.

Our founders, Jim and Lynda Taylor, and winemaker Ryan Taylor, operate the largest and most award-winning winery in Placer County. Mt. Vernon Wines are hand crafted and spectacular in variety, taste and enjoyment. In addition to “Best Winery”, Mt. Vernon was also won “Best Winemaker” for the 15^th year in a row!

Our estates are in the foothills with sweeping views and serene surroundings. The tasting room is a beautifully restored 1950s milk house with elegant gardens overlooking the lush vineyards.

Our knowledgeable and friendly staff are perfect companions to your wine tasting adventure.

Our tasting room is open Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mt. Vernon also hosts reoccurring events, including the Wine Cave Dinner, exclusive Wine Releases and other special events.
